Frosted Banana Bars


2/3 C. sugar

1/2 C. sour cream

2 T. margarine, softened

2 egg whites

2 medium bananas, crushed

1 t. vanilla

1 C. flour

1/4 t. salt

1/2 t. baking soda


Spray a square pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.


Beat sugar, sour cream, margarine, and egg whites in large bowl on low for 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low speed for 30 seconds.

Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium speed for 1 minute.


Bake for 20-25 minutes.


Frosting:


1 package cream cheese, softened
1/3 C. butter or margarine, softened
1 t. vanilla
2 C. powdered sugar


Mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until blended. Gradually beat in powdered sugar with spoon, scraping bowl occasionally, until smooth and spreadable.
